Chairman KCB calls on Governor

Dr. Rajeev Bhardwaj, Chairman, Kangra Central Co-operative Bank Ltd called on Governor Bandaru Dattatraya at Raj Bhavan, today.

The Governor suggested him to involve and help women farmers and associate local artisans with the cooperative movement. He also suggested for extending assistance to self-help groups. He said that those branches of the bank who achieved the maximum recovery rate should be given incentives.

In his courtesy call, the Chairman apprised the Governor about the activity and initiative taken by the Bank during COVID-19 period and assistance being provided to the farmers. He said that Kangra Co-operative Bank has 241 branches in the State and nearly 2500 employees of the Bank were providing services to the stakeholders. He said that Kangra and Kullu districts were the model of the cooperative movement in the state.
