Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has appreciated the work done by management and drivers/conductors of HRTC in bringing back a large number of students of Himachal Pradesh stuck in Kota of Rajasthan, Delhi and Chandigarh Tri-city area due to lockdown imposed in the wake of coronavirus.
In a letter addressed to Managing Director HRTC Yunus, Chief Minister has asked him to communicate his appreciations to the drivers, conductors and other staff of HRTC associated with the evacuation of stranded Himachalis back to the State.
Chief Minister also lauded the services provided by Assistant General Manager Himachal Bhawan, Chandigarh Anil Kapoor, Superintendent of Police and OSD Himachal Bhawan, Chandigarh Virender Kalia and General Manager Industries and OSD Himachal Bhawan Chandigarh Rajiv Kumar for their dedicated services and commendable work in evacuating the stranded people of Himachal Pradesh in Tri-city area due to lockdown in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic.
In the letters addressed to these officers, Chief Minister said that it was due to their continuous and sincere efforts that the people have reached their native places. He also expressed hope that they would continue to work with same commitment and dedication in future also.
