Governor and CM expresses grief over demise of former Minister Shyama Sharma

Governor Bandaru Dattatraya and Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has expressed grief over the demise of former Minister Shyama Sharma, who passed away today at the age of 72.

Three times MLA and State Minister Shyama Sharma was born in 1948 at Sarog Tikkar (Sarahan) Village of District Sirmaur. Shyama Sharma was elected for Nahan Vidhan Sabha Constituency for the first time in 1977 and served as State Minister. Besides this she was elected to State Vidhan Sabha in 1982 and 1990. She was also Vice Chairman of State Planning Board.

Governor Bandaru Dattatraya said that Shyama Sharma will always be remembered for her impeccable service and indelible contribution to the State.

Bandaru Dattatraya has expressed his deepest condolences with the bereaved family members for this irreparable loss.

In his condolence message, Chief Minister said that demise of Shyama Sharma has caused void in political and social sector. He said that her contributions in development in the State would always be remembered.

 Chief Minister has prayed the Almighty to give peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family members to bear this irreparable loss.
