The Board of Director’s meeting of HP General Industries Corporation (HPGIC) and HP State Industrial Development Corporation (HPSIDC) Ltd. was held today at Chandigarh under the chairmanship of Industries Minister Bikram Singh.
The Minister appreciated the efforts of the officers and officials of the Corporations and said that HPGIC has earned net profit of Rs. 5.65 crore while HPSIDC has earned net profit of Rs. 13.92 crore during financial year 2017-18.
The BoD released the dearness allowance installment to the regular employees and pensioners of both the Corporations. The BoDs of both the Corporation also recommended contributing CSR activities under State Disaster Management and Rehabilitation.
Later, Bikram Singh presided over BoD meeting of Himachal Pradesh Handicraft and Handloom Corporation where it was decided to open Himachal Pradesh Handicraft and Handloom sales centre in Gujarat.
Vice Chairman HPGIC Manohar Dhiman, Vice-Chairman HPSIDC Prof. Ram Kumar, Vice Chairman Handloom and Handicraft Corporation Sanjeev Katwal, Managing Director Dr. S.S. Guleria, Director Industries Hans Raj Sharma and other senior officers of both the Corporation were present on the occasion.
