Forest, Transport, Youth Services and Sports Minister Govind Singh Thakur today said that the Global Investor’s Meet being organised at Dharamshala being a new phase of economic development and social prosperity in Himachal Pradesh.

He said that under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur and the support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, such a big event is being organized for the first time in the state to attract investors.

Apart from this, the state government has also worked hard to promoting development oriented activities by simplifying the rules and regulations like Single Window Act-2018 and Himachal Pradesh Micro Enterprises Facilitation Council Rules-2018.

Govind Singh Thakur said that till now investment proposals worth Rs 83 thousand crores have been signed with various industrial houses which will strengthen the economy. All these efforts will create new employment opportunities and bring prosperity in life of the people of the state, he added.
