Assistant Drug Controller-cum-drugs licensing authority, district Sirmaur has clarified that there is no licensed manufacturing firm in the name of M/S Apex formulation in the district. He said that no license has been ever granted to such firm and it has been wrongly mentioned by a section of media that this firm is manufacturing spurious drugs.
He said that the Uttar Pradesh Drug Control administration has been informed several times that the drugs being sold in UP and claimed to be manufactured by M/S Apex formulation situated in district Sirmaur was not true as no license has been issued to such firm and spurious drugs being sold in UP has no connection with Sirmaur district.
