Online Certification Workshop for BRCC

Education Minister Suresh Bhardwaj addressed the Block Resource Centre Coordinators (BRCC) on fundamentals of Information Technology through webinar in association with Jaypee University.

He said that online certification workshop would be conducted for BRCC on fundamentals of Information Technology from 10 July, 2020 for 15 days, so that they could develop better understanding of technical aspects of online education and perform their role with efficiency and the certificates would be given by Jaypee University. He said that with the efforts of BRCC, great work on online education has been done by BRCC under Har Ghar Pathshalla programme and 72 percent students of more than 15 thousand schools have been covered. E-content was being disbursed to teachers and their issues were also being redressed. BRCC was performing an important role of connecting parents and teachers through e-samvaad app.

Education Minister said that BRCC has also trained the usage of Shiksha Saathi app and visited 27,134 schools. He said that a provision of Rs. 96 .25 lakh was being provided by Ministry of Human Resource Development for repair of 35 Block Resource Centres.

Secretary Education Rajeev Sharma presented vote of thanks and said that special emphasis was being laid on education by the State Government.

State Project Director of Samgra Shiksha Abhiyan Ashish Kohli, HOD of Computer Science Dr. Ruchi Verma and other officers were also present on the occasion.
