The victory of the BJP candidates in both Pachhad and Dharamshala assembly constituency bye-elections was a referendum of the people of the State in favour of the development oriented policies and programmes initiated for the welfare and development of the people.
This was stated by the Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur while addressing the people of Pachhad, who assembled at his official residence ‘Oak Over’ along-with the newly elected MLA Reena Kashyap.
The Chief Minister thanked the people of Pachhad for creating a history by giving mandate in favour of BJP candidates for record three times consecutively which shows the trust of the people of the area in the developmental oriented policies and programmes of the present State government. He said that the government would leave no stone unturned to come up to the expectations of the people of Pachhad area.
Jai Ram Thakur also extended his gratitude towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP National President Amit Shah and BJP National Working President J.P. Nadda for initiating development oriented and welfare schemes for the people of the country which were also benefiting the people Himachal immensely. He urged the people of the State to give wholehearted support to the State government in accelerating the pace of the development further.
Chief Whip Narender Bragta also thanked the people of Pachhad for their wholehearted support to the BJP in the bye elections. He said that the State was fortunate to have a young, hardworking and honest leader in form of Jai Ram Thakur. He said that the concern of the Chief Minister towards the development of the State was indeed laudable.
MP Suresh Kashyap also spoke on the occasion.
MLA Reena Kashyap thanked the people of Pachhad area for electing her MLA and assured that she would work with commitment and dedication to come up to the aspirations and expectations of people of the area. She also thanked the Chief Minister for his benevolence and trust in her.
Chairman HP Marketing Board Baldev Bhandari and senior BJP leader Chander Mohan Thakur were also present on the occasion among others.
