Education Minister Govind Singh Thakur said here today that the leaders of Congress Party were playing petty politics on Covid-19 since the beginning of the pandemic. Leader of opposition Mukesh Agnihotri is often making absurd comments on the steps taken by the government to contain the spread of virus and has no concern for the safety of people. Leaders of Congress are busy competing with each other and continuously trying to attain media mileage.
Education Minister said that Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur has taken effective steps to contain in the spread of the virus. He has been regularly monitoring the Covid-19 situation in the State till grass root level. The State Government is giving top priority to safety of people from the virus and opposition leaders should support the decision taken by the government.
Keeping in view the sudden increase in the number of covid patients, the State Government has taken strict decisions to prevent the spread of the virus. The State Government has decided that no political function would be held in the State till 15th December and only virtual programmes would be conducted. Not more than 50 persons have been allowed in any kind of social, cultural and political functions to break the cycle of this virus. To control the further spread of virus, random sampling would be done of infected person in primary stage.
Education Minister said that leader of opposition are just playing political games rather than expressing concern over safety of people of the State.
